Please describe your research theme in simple terms.

My research focuses on understanding heat and mass transfer in Microscale, micropartilces and their application in diversity of fields: mechanical, chemical, medical engineering. Near – Infrared imaging method has been conducted for analysis, prediction, solving without any pretreatments.

What would you want to achieve through your studies in TMU?

I feel so lucky to be a graduate student of TMU with good professors, nice colleagues and kind staffs. Complete Master course excellently with high scores, value papers/ reports; Be fluent in Japanese for communicating daily and academic in Doctor course; Understand deeply Japanese culture.

What is the main reason for you to choose TMU as a place to research?

When I was child, one of my dream is coming to Japan for studying and living. With recommendation from my friend, I have known TMU then so amazing for me to find detail about the unique public university in Tokyo. Punctually, this is a destination for me to enhance my knowledge, develop my career path.

How is your daily life in Tokyo so far?

In first time, I faced to face so many troubles in Japanese life. With helping from TMU staffs, professor and tutor, friends now everything runs well. This winter is my first time to enjoy snow and looking forward to pose with Cherry Blossom.

Have you faced any cultural/customary difference that have surprised or troubled you since you came to Tokyo?

Working style of Japanese makes me so surprised, there are hard – working, carefully, scrupulous. Japan is one of the high-tech country in the world, so that many technologies have been applied in life, education, transport, etc.

Your role in the future

What kind of roles would you like to play between Tokyo and your home country in the future?

By the time of living, studying in Japan I am going to connect education/ industry between two sites buy introducing Vietnamese guys/ market to Japan, transfer my knowledge to my hometown and work/ study further in Japan. Try my best to Japan – Vietnam relations to be stronger.
